Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer free trials?
Yes, you are always welcome to come and try our program if we have a spot in the class at the time requested. If not we will do our best to accommodate you!
How many children do you have in each group?
We run on a ratio of 8 children to 1 teacher. Sometimes in the Mini Beings group (the youngest group) , we have an extra teacher to help children settle. Our classes are small which means more attention for your child and better learning outcomes.
How long do the classes run for?
We work during school terms. Each class is 1 hour long and each term generally lasts 10 weeks. Some terms are shorter which we charge accordingly.
What happens if it rains?
We have indoor options for Hallstorm Park and the Kiama locations. Since we are unable to offer an indoor space at the other locations for our clients, the option of makeup classes are offered or a discount on the next term's fee. You can be certain that every class will always go ahead as scheduled.
Can my child start at any time during a term?
Yes of course! We will charge you a pro- rata rate based on your attendance.
What should my child bring?
Comfortable clothes, a hat and a water bottle. Make sure your child is wearing covered shoes such as sneakers and not thongs, sandals or crocs.
Does my child do the same sports each week?
We do two different sports each week. Our program is designed to introduce preschoolers to the fundamentals of 12 different sports (soccer, tennis, basketball, football, hockey, athletics, cricket, balance stations, obstacle courses, throwing & rolling skills & T-ball). By rotating the sports every week we also decrease the likelihood of children becoming disinterested in a particular activity.
What qualifications/experience do your coaches have?
All Jumping Beings coaches have experience working with children of all ages. Staff must have working with children checks and complete our in house training program before leading any classes.
